a story for ages...

Just the other day i was watching a Bollywood movie named 'hum-tum', which was intellectually inspired(that is the word used for 'a total rip off' in Bollywood) from the Hollywood classic 'when harry met sally'. in this Bollywood blockbuster the hero throws a line that caught my ear more than any any dialogue that he romantically recites to his lover.he says,"everybody’s life is like a story book and when you meet other people their story becomes a part of your book. "

i was really forced to think and ponder the depth of these lines.it's so true our lives are like a story book adding chapters at each moments that live by...the people we meet...we love...we hate...our family...our loved ones...the girl whom you so much love...yet so far...yet so near...the beggar that you daily pass by...ignoring his pleading eyes...the child playing in the park reminding you of your childhood....the old man sitting on the porch reading the morning newspaper...reminding you of your grandfather whom you didn't have a chance to meet...to play with...the lady waiting in front of the school for her child to come back ...standing in the scorching heat...still smiling....reminding the sacrifices that your mother had made for you...the tiring man with a black briefcase in his hand...striding slowly...reminding of your father's contribution to your life...they all are here...they do matter...they made you the man you are today...they fill the chapters of your life.....of your story book.....

likewise...you become a part of....a chapter of someone else's story book...sometimes...a dedication on the second page...sometimes a line or two in the preface....sometimes an one pager....sometimes the whole book...an epic....and sometimes in the lines that states 'about the author'....it doesn't matter whether you feature in any of the areas....it matters that you do feature...even for a slight moment...even for long ages...so the faces that you see...the hands that you shake...the hearts that you touch...the eyes that you meet...all of them matters....this is how our stories get entangled...if you look them from the eyes of God...it seems that same story of the universe is told and re-told from several different perspectives...it is like God watching a multi-starrer film in which the story line involves interwoven small stories...different characters...different emotions...different sets...all intertwined to make a epic classic...running for ages...since birth...

the mischievous question that pops in my head - "doesn't God get tired of the boring script??"
